Week 9 Reflection

This is my granddaughter, Kylie, on Halloween. Isn't she adorable??

I am going to have to make this short (are you relieved??), as I am on my way to the hospital. I am having trouble walking, and my doctors cannot seem to pinpoint the problem, so I am being admitted to the hospital in a couple of hours.

When I began the reading for this week, I was a bit confused on the differences between an LCMS and an LMS, but the readings, and a few additional articles I came across, cleared it up for me. I have to admit that this is an area where I did not have much familiarity going into this class.

I have enjoyed the multimedia presentations and really like the different ways everyone presented.

Take care of yourself ... if the hospital has wireless ... then you're in. Take care, my friend.

Look at the David, he is going to work you isn't he Karen (smile). I understand perfectly with those illnesses.

I really enjoyed your grand daughter's picture. That is so cute. I had a hard time getting my picture on my blog but was glad when I finally did.

Yes LCMS and LMS were quite confusing for me until I researched the history, purpose, and intent of each. This cleared things up for me. Those tables, charts, and comparison's were fuzzy until I understood the purpose and intent.

I am home from the hospital. I need to go back for more tests on Tuesday, but I think they were tired of me whining about needing to get home to my computer and back to my classroom!

I am taking lots of pain killers and muscle relaxants, so staying awake and forming coherent thoughts can be a bit challenging...

I forgot to mention my MSN activity this week. I tried out the whiteboard with David, had a video chat with Georges, chatted with Yolanda, and Dianne, and Dr. Powley, and Phyllis...did I forget anyone?

I am so glad to be home and able to walk!

Karen

Karen, hope everything goes well with your legs and you are out as soon as possible completely recovered.
As to your comment about the presentations, I agree. There have been a variety of formats for the presentations and each one of them is interesting and have permitted each of us dig more profoundly into it. The last version of your podcast is great. I am sure you are almost an expert in podcasting by now. I have enjoyed all the presentations I have been able to open also and I hope to look at the others soon. Best wishes!
